Healthy Steps in Exton is intact-friendly...but they'll butt heads with you over vaccination if you feel strongly about that.
ReplyDeleteI have taken my son to Keystone Pediatrics in Chambersburg since he was born. They asked if he was circumcised at his first visit (to put on his record) , I told them no and the subject hasn't been brought up since. He's had every doctor in the practice at least once and the closest they come to his penis is opening his diaper at check ups to make sure both testicles are there. His actual penis hasn't ever been touched. I haven't had any pressure to circumcise him nor have they tried to attribute any issues to him being intact.
ReplyDeleteDr. Carl Hildebrandt in Pittsburgh has sons who are intact. He is also pro breastfeeding and willing to accept patients on alternative vaccine schedules.
ReplyDeleteDr. Flood in Phoenixville is Pro-Breastfeeding, Pro-Foreskin, Pro-Selective Vaccination, Pro-Homeopathic Medicine. Dr. Flood also has two intact boys of her own! Super, Duper crunchy practice. Love them - but avoid appointments with Dr. Corpus.
ReplyDeleteDr. Lisa R. Caso in Easton *does* perform circumcision when it is requested, but has never even attempted to retract our son or mention anything about circumcision or retraction during visits.

The midwives here were awesome, and are all pro-intact. The owner performs circ, though, and she gets a lot of Amish women to go through with it.
Dr. Don Kovacs, Yellow Breeches Family Practice, Boiling Springs. Unfortunately Dr. Kovacs will be retiring within the next 5-7 years. He is very parent choice, although his office has a good balanced pamphlet about circumcision that was great for a new parent!
ReplyDeleteMy sons go to Dr. DiMartino, a family physician at Woodlands Healing Research Center in Quakertown, PA (on Clymer Road). 215-536-1890. I have never had any issues with him trying to comment on/ touch the genitals of my intact boys. It's a homeopathic-centered office that is breastfeeding- & vaccine-choice friendly. There is one receptionist that can be gruff to deal with but everyone else is wonderful to deal with. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for one close to Scranton/wilksbarre, pa
ReplyDeleteMe too! Did you find any?
